My name is Aynsley Czekalski and I am 17 years old.  I am in 11th grade at St. Francis High School and play AAU for 24 Up.  I began playing basketball in MPS when I was 4 years old.

I love basketball and everything that goes into being a basketball player.  I love to train in the weight room and practice in the gym as much as I possibly can.  While I have played other sports, basketball is my true passion - which you can tell from the way I play.  I have successfully played all positions and am always working to get bigger, faster, and stronger.  Most importantly, I will do whatever my coaches need me to do for our team to win.  If my team needs me to score, I will score.  If my team needs me to take a charge and body-up the biggest girl on the other team, I'm happy to do that also.

Playing basketball is a form of self-expression for me.  It is also a way for me to honor the memory of my Mom, Kim Czekalski.

I am proud to express the person that I am through my different interests, hobbies and opinions.  I love all music, particularly rock music with Joan Jett being my favorite.  I have a wide variety of interests with an emphasis on reading, writing, and science.  I love to watch women's college basketball along with the WNBA. My favorite college player (who I try to model my game after) is Paige Bueckers - I try my best to be as capable of a scorer, shooter, passer, and team player that she is. Above all else I am a hard worker. I will do anything asked of me without any complaints and will push to exceed expectations. I love basketball and will do anything to be able to get to that next level.
